I love traveling more than anything....BUT traveling with a dog is absolutely exhausting. With or without a dog you have to make sure that you are dressed as comfortably as possible _but always in style. One thing that will definitely help you is to layer up. Always make sure that you have with you a cozy jacket, packed in your bag _because we all know it gets pretty cold in planes. Another thing that helps me a lot is, except from my backpack, to have a small shoulder bag in order to have easy access to my passport, iPhone, or other important stuff that might be needed during a flight. For this journey I decided to go all black. A simple dress and comfy tights was my choice. And now the difficult part of the whole journey, Check-in and Security check with a dog in a cage! Just for you to know in the airport in Cyprus dogs are not allowed to be outside their cage _something very annoying since in most airports they are.
McQueen … As you will figure out in the upcoming posts, McQueen is not the easiest and well behaved dog. He is a 3.5 year old spoiled Chihuahua, which I have to admit it’s my fault.
Back to the Security check. I hate it when I am asked to take off my shoes while also taking McQueen out of his cage. When you have a dog you need to take him out of his cage and hold him through the security check. He literally didn’t stop barking throughout the whole process. Feeling everyone staring at me and hearing people hoping not be in the same flight with that little monster Chihuahua made it all worse. At that point I was feeling so angry that the only thing that could have helped was Duty-Free. The enchanting scent of perfumes made all the anger disappear. I rewarded myself by buying the Thierry Mugler Angel Body Lotion _i totally recommend it. First of all, this moisturiser smells amazing and the scent can last all day. It also makes your skin look and feel soft and smooth.
After a three-hour flight we finally arrived at our destination...What a relief!
Let me know if you ever had an adventurous journey!
Love M.
